They fall over the white terraces and are filled with pools of warm water that are rich with minerals. You can take a dip in the water for fun or make the best of the healing properties. Since the weather in Pamukkale in winter is quite cold, this is an ideal way to warm up. There are many places which have some of the best formations, but you can find them all around the town. This castle was originally called the Cotton Castle and is a 12th Century castle. The castle is located on a plateau in Pamukkale town. The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking and you can find two levels of seating. On one side there are royal boxes for VIP seating with ornamental decoration along the stage which has still survived the ravages of time. The entire theater is very well preserved and although there may not be much to see or do, you will be seated in the same spots that people sat in centuries ago. This mighty theatre is 100m long and has over 28 rows. If you visit Pamukkale in winter, be sure to stop by here. If you visit during the sunset, the scene is absolutely picturesque, you will find great views of the travertine terraces from the castle ruins. After an earthquake, the structure fell into it and it was just left that way. Visited by both locals and tourists alike, it is a very popular site in Turkey.

As we visited the country in the month of May, the average temperature was pleasant and comfortable, ranging between 25 to 32 degrees Celsius. It is a dry month and turned helpful for local sightseeing and other excursions. Evenings were pleasantly warm, giving us a chance to explore the place but at times, one might feel a bit humid.

From Sentosa Island to Universal Studio and Night Safari, Singapore was really astounding for us. Following are the best experiences of our one week in Singapore trip:

1. Adventures Of Nocturnal Night Safari

On the first day of our Singapore trip, we headed for the amazing night safari during sunset. This beautiful place is home to over 1,000 animals representing nearly 100 species and one can check them out indulging in their nightly rituals. The Singapore night safari enthralled us, especially my kid. The entire region is divided into 7 geographical zones which can be covered either by foot by a tram. We also attended the cultural performances here including the one by the local tribals. We also visited the restaurant at the Night Safari, named Ulu Ulu Safari which served delicious local food.

2. Electrifying Tour Of Sentosa Island

Sentosa Island is an excursion that one must not miss out on while holidaying in Singapore. Before going to Sentosa do keep in mind that you can’t plan anything else on this day as there are so many things to explore here. From theme parks to beaches, and shopping to enormous aquariums, Sentosa is truly a once in a lifetime experience. This island surprised us with the world’s biggest aquarium, that is, the S.E.A. Aquarium and as we walked through it, the vibrant aquatic creatures stunned us. We also attended the Dolphin show here which was quite interesting and interactive, giving you a chance to capture the rare and exclusive experiences.

3. Dazzled Down The Wings Of Time

As the day proceeded, we headed for this energetic and charismatic night show at Sentosa called the ‘Wings of time’. It is a spectacular show, showcasing the importance of courage and friendship in human life. The show featured amazing effects of laser, water, and fire, making it one of the chief attractions for travelers vacationing in Singapore. This spellbinding show ended with an astounding fireworks display and with numerous beautiful memories we returned back to our accommodation after grabbing the local delicacies in Sentosa.

4. Unveil Hollywood At Universal Studios Singapore

We also visited Universal Studios during our one week in Singapore. This is another amazing place that will be equally enjoyed by your kids. This beautiful movie-theme park comprises 24 rides and attractions that will surely pomp up your adrenaline rush. If you are a true daredevil then you can also opt for a coaster where the riders are suspended. The loops, sudden turns, near-collisions, and breathtaking drops will undoubtedly make you scream your heart out. The magnificent architecture of the Universal Studios that includes lemurs, dinosaurs, mummies, and ogres will add excitement to your hours here.

5. Interesting City Tour Of Singapore

We also went for a local sightseeing tour in Singapore and explored numerous popular attractions including Merlion Statue, China Town, Modern Cafe’s, Parliament House, Orchard Road, Westin Stamford Hotel, and Marina Bay. Merlion Statue is the official symbol of Singapore and had its own story. China Town was a local market from where one can shop souvenirs and other gift items. This place is also known for Chinese street food. If you are interested in checking out South Indian cuisine while holidaying in Singapore, then do visit little India where you will find clean and comfortable restaurants serving delicious South Indian food and beverages.

In Singapore, we stayed at V Hotel Lavender. It was quite comfortable and luxuriating accommodation but my experience with the staff was not much appreciable.

Food is a bit expensive in Singapore, especially at popular attractions including Universal Studios. However, Little India, China Town, and Mustafa are the best escapes where you can find mouthwatering and flavorsome Indian and International cuisines.

Though we didn’t shop anything in Singapore, China Town and Mustafa Mall are the good options for shopaholics traveling to Singapore for a vacation.

As you are traveling with your family, I would suggest future travelers keep a track of your itinerary and daily plan. In my case, the locals and staff members were a bit rude so I would suggest you to cross-check everything in advance to avoid hassles.

Our experience with TravelTriangle was refreshing and charming.

1. Is Singapore expensive to visit?

Yes, local sightseeing, food, and transportation are a bit expensive in Singapore but you do have cheaper alternatives there.

2. How much does a meal cost in Singapore?

An average meal for two will start from INR 500 onwards.

3. How long does it take to get a visa to Singapore?

The Singapore visa processing time is generally 5 working days but its advisable to expect your visa in a week.

4. Where can I go at night in Singapore?

Singapore offers an electrifying nightlife scene. You can go either for a night safari or gardens by the sky. If you are interested in waterside dinner then do head to Clarke Quay.

5. What are the best places to visit in Singapore?

Singapore is known for numerous attractions including Sentosa, Universal Studios, Gardens by the Bay, Merlion, Marina Bay and a lot more.
